How quickly will I get results from my business coaching?
Clients develop strategies and experience “ah-ha” moments in almost every call. The way in which a client implements the awareness and/or strategy varies and results are dependent upon the client.
Are coaching sessions confidential?
Yes. All coaching sessions are completely confidential as required of all coaches certified by the International Coach Federation (ICF).
How can I be coached by someone who isn’t in my field of work?
Professionally trained coaches are trained in process development and growth management. A coach customizes support and strategy to help you navigate through your specific challenges in your given field.
Aren’t coaches just cheerleaders?
No. A coach’s role is to not only be a “cheerleader” but to be a strategic partner and support the development of skills, resources, and creativity to maximize growth and success.
How much work is required of me in the coaching process?
Coaching requires you be ready willing and able to participate in the following:
Preparation for each call – forethought of what you would like to focus on during the coaching call.
Coaching call – Focus on specific topics or areas that you would like to grow or achieve success in.
Homework – Follow up on action items agreed to in the coaching call.
How is coaching different than counseling/therapy?
How is business or executive coaching different from personal or life coaching?
Business and Executive coaching focuses on the client as a business owner or executive, with growth and development in areas such as: becoming a better leader, developing effective strategies for success with team and clients, improving the bottom line, improve work-life balance, conflict resolution, getting the most from team performance, etc.
Personal and life coaching focuses on areas of life in which a client would like to make significant growth or progress such as: improving communication with loved ones, managing / improving health, stress management, and finding your life calling to have a bigger impact on the world.
